PENN-sieve

This weekend, we had a sexual assault on campus and I am working with the victim to help her survive what has happened. Today, when I was talking to her, I looked close at her eyes. They were so sad. I hope you have never seen this look in someone's eyes - the "how did this happen to me, what did I do to deserve this, can I be strong enough to move on" look. It took all my strength not to cry when I was in her presence...in fact, it is taking all my strength not to cry now.
