PENN-sieve

No trip to San Antonio would be complete without a visit to the Alamo or so I thought. I was expecting a well developed museum and site similiar to what Bob and I saw when we went to Fort Sumnter in South Carolina. Most of the Alamo was destroyed and what remains takes but a few minutes to view. There wasn't any movie or display about what happened there. The opportunity for a history lesson was totally missed. For some reason, the Alamo doesn't receive any federal or state financial support and maybe that has a lot to do with it. Silly. Anyways, here's some pictures from the outside of the Alamo. You couldn't take any inside.
